Awake and listen, the dawn is nigh,
Do you hear the songbird singing and sense the morning light?
The beauty of the world is now coming to life,
In leafy glade and forest, emerald green and bright.
Here comes the dawn, the prelude to the day,
Hail to the sun and to the song of leaves;
The colours
of the sunrise: splendid, like the rose,
The glory of the morning that nature bestows.
Here comes the breeze, blow the branch and leaf,
Greetings to the forest, ancient as the land;
Look to the west, behold the sun goes down,
Here ends the day, begin the sylvan sleep.
