Angels

A comforting warmth encircles the soul;
The purity of presence, spiritually enhances;
These beings bring love without earthly conditions
And are real, touching so soft, the mortal heart succumbs.

Dispersing all fear with the protective shield of peace
These timeless messengers work the highest good,
They have breathed the air of the higher worlds
Circulating so cleanly, untainted by earth.

They watch the mortal flock, that learns by steady evolution:
Guiding, inspiring and encouraging,
To exemplify: perceiving the good in a higher ideal
Always reminding the turning world that love is older than the stars.

O beneficent bodies of light, with voices sweet like song
Embrace all troubled hearts and minds, for you are the peaceful flame
That glows in sacred places, on candles white as doves;
You are the light that moves unseen: the messengers of hope and love.
