In regard to ownership of copyright and current copyright law: the copyright in all paintings (i.e. all works created by Mark Woollacott) remain with the artist - even after a painting has been sold or commissioned. Buying the physical painting (or print) does not automatically give someone the ownership to the copyright in the painting (or print) or the reproduction rights (the right to create reproductions of it). Copyright in a work can only be transferred legally in writing by the artist (the first owner of copyright).

Colour matching of images on this website - Where possible, I have endeavoured to reproduce the images of my paintings and prints as faithfully as possible on my website and match their colouration with the colours of the original painting. However, because of differences in computer technology (computer screen contrast, brightness and colour settings etc.) this may affect the colouration of the image slightly when viewed on your computer, tablet or mobile phone screen.
