A Book of Mystical Experiences
When I first sat down to write Visions, my intentions were surprisingly simple. I just wanted a single, convenient place to gather all my mystical experiences — something tidy, organized, and easy for me to reference whenever I needed it. I imagined a personal volume, nothing more, with a neat, professional-looking cover that made it feel complete. In those early days, the project felt like a private conversation with myself, an attempt to capture moments that had shaped me in quiet but profound ways.
Because of that, the book naturally grew into a series of personal entries arranged in chapters — almost like a journal dressed up as a book. I wasn't thinking about readers or audiences; I was thinking about clarity, about doing justice to experiences that felt larger than words. Each vision I wrote down brought me a little closer to understanding myself, and the process became surprisingly emotional. It felt like gathering scattered pieces of my inner world and lining them up gently, carefully, so I could finally see them in order.
But as the pages accumulated, something unexpected happened: I began to sense that these stories might not be meant for me alone. There was a tug, a kind of gentle insistence, that perhaps someone else might find meaning, comfort, or curiosity in what I had lived through. That thought humbled me. It made me nervous, too — sharing something so personal always does. Yet it also warmed me with a feeling of purpose I hadn't anticipated.
So, gradually, I let the idea of publishing take root. It wasn't a dramatic decision, just a quiet realization that if even one person could benefit from reading my experiences, then offering the book to others would be worthwhile. And that is how Visions went from a private collection meant only for my own eyes to something I now feel ready — and even grateful — to share.
Beautiful Visionary Experiences
I was often amazed — and honestly taken completely by surprise — by the beautiful and profound internal mystical visions that unfolded during the course of my life, which I have described in my book. These experiences seemed to come out of nowhere. One moment I would be going about an ordinary day, and the next I would find myself immersed in something far beyond anything I ever expected or even believed could happen to a person like me. What touched me most was the presence of beings I had never sought or imagined I would encounter: angels and archangels, Lord Jesus Christ, and Our Gracious Mary Magdalene, but also revered Hindu deities, spiritual masters, Tibetan monks, and others whose presence I could feel in ways I still struggle to fully describe.
What made these moments especially humbling was that I never went looking for them. I wasn't practicing anything unusual or trying to summon visions or messages. They simply happened — spontaneously, unexpectedly, and without any sense that I had earned or called them in. At times I felt completely unprepared, as though I had stepped into a world I had no prior map or language for. Yet each encounter seemed to carry a sense of gentle teaching, compassion, or insight that left a lasting imprint on me.
Even now, I'm not entirely sure why I was allowed to witness such things or why these beings chose to appear in such vivid and moving ways. I still feel humbled by it all, and perhaps a bit puzzled too. My hope is that one day I'll discover the deeper truth behind these experiences and understand what they were meant to show me. Until then, I hold them with gratitude, and a sense of wonder that continues to shape my inner world.
How The Book Came to Be
It was on the evening of Thursday 24th September 2020, that I decided to produce a book in which it would feature all of my visions, spiritual dreams and mystical experiences. It was originally for my own benefit and convenience, so I could have everything documented in one volume, which would be a lot easier for me to refer to if I should wish to look up anything specific. I sourced all my old notes and documents, searching for many long hours until I found the notes (made many years before), where I had thankfully kept a record of some of my visions and spiritual dreams, and began to type them out in some kind of order. Some of the visions I experienced, I could remember easily, even though they happened decades ago. It was as if they were still fresh in my mind; though remembering the exact dates and times of these visions and dreams was hard.
So, at the beginning, I wasn't intending to publish it to a public audience. Not long after, I changed my mind, when I realized that the public might be interested in reading about my experiences, but I kept the book more as a personal journal, in its format: which listed each vision or experience (along with dates and times — if remembered), with brief notes. So this book was written as a series of personally documented entries, rather than a book which had more personal information for each entry.
In the design of the book cover, I purchased licensed images that I felt were appropriate. I enjoyed every aspect of designing the exterior cover and interior content of the book, including the size of the book, type and colour of paper used, the look of its pages — line spacing, choice of font styles etc. — in order to make it a comfortable read. After I had checked the proof copy all through February to April 2022, I submitted Visions for publication, as a paperback only. The book went live on the www.amazon.co.uk website on Saturday 14th May, 2022.
