Behind the Book
A New Book is Underway
This blog post shares a glimpse into the new book I'm currently working on. I hope it offers you some insight into how the idea for the book came to life and the process I'm following as I bring it together. I am witnessing this book develop in a way that has already grown beyond my own expectations. In reading this, it is my hope you will appreciate how inspired writing has shaped my creative process as an author, and served to strengthen my love for the 'sacred'.
Inspired writing is a form of writing that is now at the very heart of my creative process; shining like a jewel that now gleams bright by its beauty and with a much greater clarity than all the words I could ever hope to create myself, guiding me beyond effort and into a quiet place where a higher, sacred meaning seems to reveal itself.
Inspired Writing
Inspired writing is at the very core of the book I am currently working on. For now, I shall keep the book's title and content confidential, but in time, I shall provide more clarity. Almost every part of this new book, from its title, subtitle, the headings in each chapter, as well as the text content in each chapter (apart from where it is stated in the book that it is not inspired writing), has been gifted to me via this higher creative process.
It felt as though I was being guided by some inner teacher, one whose language was tender and wise. There was no effort on my part, no need to construct sentences; the words were simply there, waiting to be written. I could not claim them as my own creation, nor did they feel like the product of my conscious mind. They were, quite simply, given — like a gift I didn't expect to receive, yet immediately recognised as precious.
I still find it remarkable that I have experienced this rare and beautiful form of inspired writing. I never expected it; nor was I aware of what it was until it happened; I had no prior knowledge of anything this beautiful ever existing or being possible — that is to say, as another means to convey the language of truth via the written word.
I first experienced inspired writing in 2018 and have experienced it ever since. Some of my books contain a considerable amount of it, others very little. But this new book is very much a volume of inspired writing of such richness in its emotional depth, and full of sacred beauty, that I have been moved many times during the course of its making and felt immeasurable gratitude for being able to receive it and to be given the task of bringing it to readers, and to present it as well as I am able to.
How I am Inspired to Write
Creatively, I always strive to do my best whenever I produce a book; I aim to bring something beautiful and spiritual to the reader from my own experiences. When I receive inspired writing, it is as if I suddenly find myself in the privileged position of becoming the scribe, who dutifully writes down the words that flow into my mind from a higher source of truth. As I have mentioned elsewhere on this website in regards to inspired writing, the words are already there for me, gifted by a higher presence, a sacred source, inspired by a love for God.
Putting Pen to Paper
The words in this new book came to me (as inspired writing) over a period of many months. It is March 2026 (as I write this blog post), and I am still working on this book. Its words were communicated to me in the form of a mystical inner locution, heard internally, but not in the sound of my own internal voice. The experience is subtle, and the words that are delivered are communicated in a kind, friendly, and benign manner.
At first, the words in this book that were communicated to me were relatively few — a sentence or two at most — but now, I am able to write inspired writing continuously for over an hour at a time, and write far more quickly: writing down the words naturally with complete focus and attention, writing all throughout in my own handwriting as the words flow gently into my awareness. The experience is never rushed, but relaxed, at a steady pace which is comfortable for me; and I can pause and break off at any point if I choose to and resume again where I left off — I am always in full control.
This experience is not unique, for it has happened to others in the past. I certainly don't regard myself as being special or important as a result of receiving it. For me, it is simply a beautiful way to write a book, for which I remain as humble as I can be and quietly grateful for.
The words in this book have been written down in a number of plain notebooks using an ordinary black ink biro, in which I dated each section of the inspired writing and noted the time when I heard the words. This is not the first time I have received writing from this sacred source.
The Origins of the Book
This book began on the evening of Wednesday 13th November, 2024. The time was 10:25 p.m. I heard the following words 'Try it now' spoken to me in a tone of gentle encouragement. And so I did just that; I began by asking a question, by writing it down in my notebook, and then an answer eventually arrived in the form of inspired writing.
A Wonderful Presence
It is worth mentioning here that, at the beginning of this book's creation, I experienced a profound spiritual moment while I was sat at my desk: preparing a computer document file for this book. Prior to this moment, I had already received a number of inspired passages of writing from a sacred source that was providing me with the inspired writing, which meant I had some content ready to be included in the book's computer document file.
As I sat at my desk, the book's title was delivered to me — and as I typed those words on the screen and also typed a subtitle underneath, I suddenly felt the invisible presence of this sacred source standing right behind me. I was emotionally overwhelmed by a beautiful feeling and burst into tears, but remained contentedly facing the computer for a time as his presence silently worked its healing on me, which was how he wanted those moments to be.
I placed my hands together, in prayer-like fashion, out of gratitude — an instinctive and immediate gesture that was as normal to me as breathing — and felt his love washing away some private inner issue within me; and so the issue (that existed within me in the form of a subtle, emotional-formed energy) flowed out of me as I received his blessing. Sometime after, I eventually turned around, but the wonderful presence had gently faded away; yet the beautiful emotion I felt, when I first sensed his presence, still lingered in me for a time after.
Writing
In the days that followed, I managed to type everything I had received, and continued to receive further writings. Sometimes I wrote a question, but other times, a heading would be given to me. It is my hope that the words will provide you with encouragement that will lead you to the eventual awakening of your eternal Self and bring about divine love for you and spiritual sight, known as true vision.
The Book's Formatting and Style
In regards to the book's style and layout, I have arranged and edited the passages of inspired writings in chapters, each with numbered paragraphs. The passages of inspired writings have not been placed in any particular date order. Each passage of writing includes the date and time when it was received. I have also written a brief introduction for each passage of writing, as well as for the chapter itself, in my own words.
